I also hear the former teacher who was forced to quit because they read to children while in drag will show up to hand out books. So please STILL COME if you were planning to!

“Moms for Liberty” is among conservative groups named 'extremist' by civil rights watchdog. Come for a peaceful SIT IN at the library to make their event less than successful. Please arrive 2 hours earlier than THEIR time so we take up space in the parking lot making it more difficult for them to have a good turnout.

It has landed national media attention for its efforts — sometimes successful — to fight COVID safety measures in schools, ban books, limit discussion about race and LGBTQ identities and populate local school boards with conservatives. Two of its co-founders, Tina Descovich and Tiffany Justice, provided NPR with a written statement in lieu of an interview to respond to the SPLC designation.”
